2012 Fixtures -
update

January
Third and fourth team fixtures have been
updated following changes by the league and these are join the first
and second
team games and the Sunday games, which are already available
on this website. Wiltshire Youth Cricket League for Under 11's, Under
13's and Under 15's are now also available by clicking
on the link to the appropriate age group page.
County Cricket
Comes to Biddestone
11th
January
The club is delighted to announce that it will be
hosting a prestigous Over 50's County match in the DM Sports
League. The match will take place between Wiltshire Over 50's and
Surrey Over 50's on Thursday 14th June with the match
starting at 1.00 pm. Obviously everyone is very welcome.
Senior Indoor Nets
- 2012 dates and times confirmed
11th January
Biddestone CC Senior Indoor Nets
will start on Sunday March 4th at Sheldon School Sports
Hall. They will be from 1pm for 2 hours and will
run for 5 consecutive Sundays, please make every effort to
attend these sessions. Cost will be £5 per session.
Keith Davis - Sunday Village
League
24th December
We are sad to advise members that Keith Davis, the
chairman and organiser of the Sunday Village Cricket League died
recently. Keith was a firm supporter of the 'Biddestone ethos' of
inclusion, encouraging young players and playing the game the right
way. Our sympathies go to his family and friends.

Overseas Player 2012 News
17th December
(updated 11th January)
Arrangements are
progressing well to finalise the signing of Rudi Second as our
overseas player for 2012 and we are well ahead of previous years'
with the paperwork.
Rudi's progress in domestic cricket
in South Africa can be followed on line by going on ; ESPNCRICINFO and
adding his name in the search box. Rudi is playing for Eastern Province
and is 22 years old.
Biddestone Cricket Club make
contribution to LV= SOS Kit Aid Scheme
16th November
Biddestone CC have made a superb cricket
kit donation to LV= SOS Kit Aid. This cricket kit donation will help
to provide children in the UK and overseas with unwanted cricket kit
that will give them the chance to participate in sporting
activities.
